CK Tech Ltd were brought in to form three foam barriers, in order to stop grout running off the site, due to the very steep inclined angled tunnel roadways. These barriers were formed by drilling several lines of boreholes at close centre, then injecting foam until a back pressure was achieved. Through the innovative use of boreholes seals allowed the injection of a total of 18t of MasterRoc MP 367 2-component polyurea silicate foam, using Desoi 2k injections pumps. Use of optical cameras fed directly into the injection area, provided real time monitoring of the injection void filling and consolidation process.

CK-Tech Ltd undertook a very successful project in support of Soil Engineering Geo Ltd (SEGL).
SEGL were consolidating a large abandoned mine workings and roadway underneath a pipeline; by drilling into it and injecting a cementitious grout until refusal, in order to allow the client to bring heavy plant to the site to do some maintenance works on the pipeline.
